Mater Dei High Schools girls and boys soccer programs were established in 1978. Both programs have continued to build
upon their success throughout the years by winning numerous Sectional and Regional titles, and reaching the IHSAA State
finals on four separate occasions. Because of that success, The Mater Dei Soccer Club was founded in 2007 and is a direct
extension of the high school’s soccer program.
We have a Board of Directors who governs the Club. Positions are divided between board members, and include President,
Vice-President, Treasurer, and Secretary. Our other board members and sub-committees are active in delegating and dividing
various club responsibilities.
The Club is structured as a recreational feeder program for Mater Dei High School. Our Recreation Program is geared towards
players of all skill levels from Kindergarten through Sixth Grade. The Cub Program is designed for middle school ages ranging
from Sixth, Seventh and Eighth grades. We have structured these programs to provide a progression into the Mater Dei High School
Soccer Program. Our Club Mission is to provide a fun and safe soccer experience through training and competition so that all
players can enjoy the game of soccer. We focus on basic soccer fundamentals and skill development so that our future players
are provided with a solid foundation. These core values are essential to our success as we continue to build upon the Tradition
that current players and Alumni have contributed to and experienced at Mater Dei High School.
